Central Baptist has been part of downtown Victoria since 1927. Victoria has changed over those years, but our commitments to being Biblically-grounded, Gospel-centred, Spirit-led, Kingdom-focussed, powered by prayer and rooted in Jesus has not. 

Whether you are exploring Christianity for the first time, returning to church after many years, or looking for a church home, you are welcome.

Our desire is to be a church where people are encouraged, supported, and challenged to live out their faith in everyday life – in their families, workplaces, neighbourhoods, and community.

Central Baptist Church is a member of the Fellowship of Evangelical Baptist Churches of Canada. Our region is Fellowship Pacific.

 

Partnerships

     

 We are grateful to the City of Victoria for granting Central a 3-year permissive tax exemption (2025-2027). This exemption from property taxes enables us to invest back into ministry as we seek to "renew our community through the gospel."
