I'M NEW

At Central you will be inspired to worship God, challenged to grow in your faith, and included in a vibrant community that serves our city and our world.

If you have any questions about the church or how to get connected, please contact us, we’d love to help.

How do I get to Central?

Central Baptist is located at 833 Pandora Ave, on the south side of Pandora Ave Between Blanshard and Quadra streets. Pandora Ave is a one way street heading west (towards the harbour) and is best accessed from Quadra Street or Cook Street. The church has an underground parkade; the entrance is at the west end of the building.

If you are coming from Down Town (Inner Harbor)
Take Government, Douglas or Blanshard street north. Turn right on Johnson Street (one way), left on Quadra, and left on Pandora looking for Central Baptist on the left.

Where do I park?

On Sunday morning there are several options for free parking at or near Central Baptist Church. Central has its own underground parkade which is on the west side of the building and offers the best location for parking. The parkade is wheelchair accessible. In the event that the parkade is full, a parkade volunteer will direct you to other available parking options, including street parking or the Johnson Street Parkade.

If you are volunteering at Central during the week, you may pick up a free parking sticker from the church office to park on level P4 in our parkade.

If you are attending a weekday program or event, parkade spaces are available free of charge and street parking is free after 6 pm.

How do I meet the pastors?

The pastors are always on the lookout for people new to Central and they would love to meet you. Feel free to introduce yourself before or after one of the services. You can also fill out a Connection Card, found in the seat pocket ahead of you on Sunday, and indicate you would like to meet with a pastor. You are welcome to email us as well.

Each of our pastors are available to meet with people one-on-one for counsel on spiritual or personal issues. To make an appointment, please phone the church office. You will be asked some general questions about the nature of your request so that we can connect you to the pastor who is most able to assist you.

If I come to the church mid-week, how do I enter the building?

Parking:
There are several parking stalls in the parkade on the bottom level (P4) that are reserved for church use during the week. Please use the Visitor or Volunteer stalls. You will need a parking pass from the Church Office. When you arrive at the church, park in the 3 minute zone at the front entrance, go to the church office and ask for a pass. If Central becomes your church home, you can request a parking sticker that attaches to your windshield.

Please note that during the week, the parkade is made available to the public as paid parking. Free parking is only available to those who are at the church for meetings or volunteer activities.

To Enter the building:

During the week, the main doors to the lobby are locked. To enter the church, please use the Church Office door, which is found to the right of the main entrance. The office door can also be accessed by the elevator. Use the buzzer to alert the Administrative Assistant. The main office is just inside this door. The Administrative Assistant or Office Manager will be there to answer your questions or help you find where you need to go. If you are meeting with a pastor, please check in with the office.
