How can believers walk with people who are impacted by medical assistance in dying (MAiD) so they will experience God’s presence? 

 

This workshop will cover specific topics, including:

  • The Canadian reality (MAiD legislation requirements and amendments)
  • Biblical and theological convictions
  • Patient and family perspectives
  • Stages in decision-making
  • Coming alongside those impacted by MAiD

Ample time will be given for questions and responses. 

Date: Saturday, April 5, 2025

Time: 9:00 am to 4:00 pm (includes a mid-morning and afternoon break as well as an hour for lunch.)

Cost: tickets are $15 per person.  Includes all handout materials and coffee breaks with light refreshments.  Lunch is on your own.  You are welcome to bring a lunch and eat at the church or eat out at any of the many local eateries.
