Renew

The heart of Christianity is the gospel, or good news, of what God is doing to renew his fallen creation through Jesus Christ. This gospel is not   simply the bare minimum facts that must be believed in order to be “saved”; it is also the very power of God to transform every part of your life.  This fall Central will be discussing its proposed new vision (“renewing our community through the gospel”) and accompanying 3 year strategic plan. From Sept 11th to Nov 13th, the sermons will unpack what is meant by “gospel renewal” as we seek to define what the gospel is, how it should function in our lives, and how its renewing power affects our personal lives, city, use of wealth, acts of justice and mercy, and participation in global missions.
